At the beginning of the twentieth century, in a corner of Campania kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind, a young couple - Giovanni Cervo and Angelina Grammatica - started a story made of passion, work and authentic flavors.
With love and dedication, they began to cultivate their own vineyards in a small family estate, producing a simple but sincere wine, obtained from asprigne and generous grapes, daughters of that fertile land.
That wine, genuine and frank, soon became much more than a drink: it represented a meeting point for friends, neighbors and fellow villagers. A place where you toasted to life, shared stories and built bonds.
The Passing of the Witness
With the passing of the years, it was one of the sons of Giovanni and Angelina, Giuseppe Cervo, affectionately known to all as Peppe 'O Russo, who collected the inheritance of the parents.
Guided by the same passion, Peppe expanded the cultivation of the vineyards and made the family business more and more solid, without ever moving away from the simplicity of the origins.
Work followed the slow and wise rhythm of the seasons, in a natural balance between tradition and love for the land.
The Secret Ingredient
In 1994, the story of the Cervo family is enriched with a new chapter.
Angelina, the firstborn of Giuseppe, decides to combine her great passion for wine with another: cooking.
The place, always linked to the wine tasting of the house, is transformed into an inn with a kitchen, while maintaining the family and peasant spirit of the origins intact.
Bottles continued to tell stories of the vineyard, but now they were accompanied by hot, fragrant, full of memory and feeling dishes.
Our Kitchen up to Today
From that moment on, the glasses have been added to the flavors of the house: dishes of the Neapolitan tradition, prepared according to ancient family recipes.
From scarpariello to genovese, every dish is a tribute to the roots, to the simplicity and authenticity of a cuisine that does not follow the trends, but the heart. Today as then, our commitment is to preserve and share this heritage, offering an experience that tastes of truth, conviviality and passion.
